Donald Hepburn, Jr. was born in Portland, Ore. on June 30, 1950. He attended Boise Grade School, Jefferson High School, Mt. Hood Community College and University of Oregon.
At a young age he started the groups Soul Masters and Pleasure. They made several albums and traveled the world. He also started the group H.M.S.S. (Her Majesty Secret Service).
In the mid-80s, he moved to Seattle where he worked at The Paramount Theatre, University of Washington and Boeing Everett.
Over the last few years Hepburn had several strokes to which he eventually succumbed on March 26, 2024.
Preceded in death by Donald Hepburn, Sr. (father), Elizabeth Hepburn (mother) and Waverly Gordon (sister). He leaves behind Kathryn Rena Mullen-Hepburn (wife), Michael Hepburn (brother) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Hepburn was laid to rest on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1180 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086, in a private ceremony at his request.
