Services for Spring Yvonne Sims are Thursday, June 4, at 11 a.m., at Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church.
Born March 29, 1953 to Ora Lee Martin and Frank Sims in Portland, Spring attended Woodlawn Elementary school and Adams High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Henry Lee Martin; a sister Sherry Sims-Glass; a great-niece Cody Lynn Hatfield; and the love of her life Thomas Perry Martin and his son Sean Martin. She is survived by her children . . . .

The host of BET's "My Two Cents," Bryonn Bain travels to Portland Friday, June 5, to perform his new work, "Lyrics on Lockdown," from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Multicultural Center,  Smith Memorial Student Union room 228, Portland State University.
