Clarence Johnson was born on March 27, 1971 to Debra Payton and Lamont Johnson in Portland. He died Oct. 30, and services were held Nov. 8.
Johnson was raised by his mother and aunt Phyllis. In younger years he enjoyed playing basketball, pop dancing, breakdancing, drawing and hanging out with his friends.
Friends said he was an adventurous young man.
Johnson' later years were spent listening to music, socializing with his friends and eating all types of good food, especially spaghetti, which he liked to call "spinghetti."
His daughters Clareesha and Shakia were the highlight of his life, whom everyone referred to as "Daddy's little girls."
Johnson was smart, ambitious, friendly and gifted. He was admired by his family and friends for so many things, but especially his beautiful smile.
Before he left this world, his family says, Johnson had made peace with God.
Preceding him in death were his grandmothers: Irene Johnson and Pearl Johnson; grandfather: Densber Johnson and brother: Shaunte Johnson.
He is survived by his wife: Kimia Johnson; daughters: Clareesha and Shakia Johnson; mother: Debra E. Payton; father: Lamont Johnson; sister: Deanna Hampton-Johnson; special aunt: Phyllis Roper and family and friends.
Arrangements were made by Cox & Cox Funeral Chapel.
