The Genealogical Forum of Oregon (GFO) is inviting everyone with an interest in exploring their family history to their 2025 Open House. From March 23-29 the GFO Library in downtown Portland, at 2505 S.E. 11th Ave., Ste B018, will be open for research with no day-use fee and the forum will be offering free events. Register on the GFO website.

The Open House includes:

  • 20 free classes online and 1 free class in-person!
  • Library tours on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons
  • Beginning research help -- five sessions available every day (with no fee) for individualized help from our research assistants in the library.

The Genealogical Forum of Oregon has the largest genealogical library in the Pacific Northwest, with access to more than 60,000 holdings of records from around the globe and to many popular subscription genealogy websites.
