Washington County Celebrates Juneteenth

This year Washington County is celebrating Juneteenth with a board proclamation Tuesday, June 7, 10 a.m. It can be viewed on YouTubeWashingtonCountyOregon - YouTube.

Flag Raising Ceremony

The first Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony will be held at the Washington County Public Services Building ,155 N 1st Ave, Hillsboro, noon to 1 p.m., Monday, June 13. This is the first time that Washington County will raise the Juneteenth flag in honor of Freedom Day.
