Listening sessions for homeless female war veterans in Seattle are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 3-4:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the United States Department of Labor Women's Bureau, the effort is to identify needs and gather information to better understand the causes of homelessness for women veterans and ways to provide linkages to resources and services.
The sessions are at The King County Veterans' Program, in the Walthew Bldg in the 3rd floor conference room, 123 3rd Ave S, Seattle.
Snacks will be provided and each participant will receive a $40 Safeway gift card.
